Position Overview

Objectways is seeking an experienced Project Manager to drive delivery across multiple workstreams while owning the financials behind them. Strong experience with Jira, Rally, Excel, executive presentations, and core financial management required.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and close projects on time, within scope, and on budget.
• Manage backlogs, sprints, and work items in Jira and Rally, keeping boards accurate and current.
• Track progress, dependencies, and risks across teams, and escalate blockers early.
• Own project financials including budgeting, forecasting, actuals vs. plan, burn rate, and variance analysis.
• Support cost tracking, invoicing, and month-end reconciliation.
• Build and maintain Excel trackers for schedules, resourcing, budgets, and status reporting.
• Create polished presentations for status updates, steering meetings, and executive reviews.
• Run standups, sprint reviews, and stakeholder check-ins, and document decisions and action items.
• Collaborate with business, technology, and vendor teams to align on priorities and deliverables.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of project management experience.
• Hands-on experience with Jira and Rally.
• Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, XLOOKUP, and building financial trackers.
• Strong presentation skills with experience building executive-ready PowerPoint decks.
• Experience with core financial management, including budgets, forecasting, cost tracking, and variance analysis.
• Working knowledge of Agile/Scrum and Waterfall methodologies.
• Excellent communication skills with technical and non-technical audiences.

Preferred Qualifications

• PMP, CAPM, PMI-ACP, or CSM certification.
• Experience in financial services, banking, or payments.
• Familiarity with Confluence, Smartsheet, or MS Project.
• Experience working in large enterprise environments.
