DescriptionKforce has a client in Irvine, CA that is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer for an onsite role - must work with PST hours.Summary:We are seeking a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to support the reliability, scalability, and performance of a cloud-native platform. This role will partner with engineering teams to build and maintain resilient infrastructure, automate deployments, improve observability, and ensure high availability of critical applications.Responsibilities:* Design and support cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, and GCP* Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Helm, and CloudFormation* Manage Kubernetes environments, including multi-cluster deployments and Istio* Build and maintain CI/CD and GitOps pipelines using tools such as ArgoCD and Bitbucket* Implement monitoring, alerting, and observability solutions using Prometheus, Grafana, and OpenTelemetry* Drive automation, self-healing capabilities, disaster recovery planning, and operational excellence* Enforce cloud security, compliance, and platform reliability standards* Participate in incident response, troubleshooting, and root cause analysisRequirements* 6+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, Platform Engineering, or Cloud Infrastructure* Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP* Strong Kubernetes administration experience in production environments* Experience with Terraform, Helm, CloudFormation, or other IaC tools* Experience with CI/CD, GitOps, and deployment automation* Knowledge of monitoring, logging, and observability best practices* Proficiency in Python, Go, Bash, or similar scripting languages* Experience supporting on-call rotations and incident managementPreferred:* Multi-cloud experience (AWS, Azure, GCP)* Istio, Kafka, Amazon MSK, Flink, or Debezium experience* Experience with HIPAA, SOC 2, or ISO 27001 environments* Exposure to MLOps, AI/GenAI infrastructure, MLflow, or Kubeflow* Experience with cloud security, IAM, RBAC, secrets management, and cost optimizationSkills: Strong communication, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and collaborate across multiple engineering teams.Job TypeContractCompensation75 - $84
