Our Carpet Weaving workshop will lead you to a deep understanding about the the art of making rugs in Morocco while in a cultural exchange with the ladies working hand to hand with you. Here we share our weaving heritage with our guests in a spontaneous, human and friendly space.
It also allows rich information about the process of making carpets from sheep wool shaving, cleaning, natural colors making, tint, spinning, loom preparation to finally start and progress the weaving. This journey will take you to understand the various tribal and ethnic carpets in Morocco and their aesthetic and beauty uses as well the specificity of each region they come from.

We partnered with the most talented Artisans in both genders with big heart to share their knowledge and skills with our guests. Medina Workshops is your home to practice, learn and exchange craft ideas, design creations and ecological concepts. All in a friendly welcoming space that always: A Mar-hba Bikoum! : You are warmly welcome !

NEEDS: 1- LOAM + WEAVING TOOLS + WEAVER IN HER TRADITIONAL DRESS. 2- POUFFS + COFFEE TABLES. 3- POTS + DYING PLANTS: HENNE, POMEGRANATE, MINT…INDIGO. 4- RUGS. 5- WOOL IN DIFFERENT COLORS.
